About
The last mile of every result.
PCR Lab Pro is the reporting and release platform for molecular labs — software for the stage between the result file your instrument writes and the signed document a clinician acts on. This page is why that stage deserved its own software, and who builds it.
Why this layer exists
Your LIS knows the patient, the order and the specimen. Your instrument knows the amplification curve. Between them sits the part nobody built software for: reading the run, calling every target against the cutoffs your lab validated, getting a second pair of eyes on it, and turning it into a branded PDF with your lab’s name, your director’s name and your license number on it — a document a clinician will act on, and one you can correct next week without pretending the first version never existed. Most labs do that stage in a spreadsheet and a Word template, by hand, at the end of a long day. PCR Lab Pro is software for that stage and only that stage. It starts with the manifest your LIS already exports and ends with a released, versioned, branded PDF report. It doesn’t ask your LIS vendor for anything — which is why you can try it on a Tuesday.

A PDF on your letterhead
A second pair of eyes
The product is built to behave like a colleague who checks before you sign. It holds the sequence — QC before review, a call on every result before release, seven letterhead fields before the PDF — and it names what is missing instead of silently letting it through. What it never does is make your call for you: whether the controls behaved, whether a result stands, whether a report goes out with your name on it — those stay yours.
It checks the things a checklist can check. It never second-guesses your call.
The principles behind the product
Three sentences the product was built on. Each one is enforced in the software, not framed on a wall.
“Blocking a lab’s first report over a fax number would be theatre.”
“A CT window guessed wrong is a wrong clinical result.”
“A correction corrects a measurement — it cannot reassign a sample.”
Who builds it
The people who build PCR Lab Pro read support@pcrlabpro.com themselves, and the contact page lists what to include so the first reply is useful.
