Orders & manifests

Drop five manifests. They merge.

The order manifest is the CSV your LIS already exports. PCR Lab Pro reads it as it arrives — several files at once, headers on whatever row each file put them — and a six-step wizard carries it from upload to a released, invoiced report. Save the order as a draft at any step, and it reopens on the step you reached.

Forty samples, three CSVs, a retyped afternoon.

The courier lands forty samples before noon. Your LIS exports one manifest; two collection sites send their own — one with headers on row three, one with a barcode column nobody agreed to. Somebody then spends the afternoon pasting all three into the one spreadsheet the workflow will accept, and every paste is another chance for a result to land against the wrong patient. That retyped afternoon is the failure this page exists to remove.

Manifests merge. The software adapts to the file, not the reverse.

Bring every file the day produced and they merge into one order instead of fighting. Skip-rows is set per file, so headers on row three are a fact you record once, not a reformatting job. And before you export anything, there is a sample manifest to download — the shape, shown rather than described.

One path from manifest to paid order.

  • Multi-file CSV manifest import with per-file skip-rows and a downloadable sample manifest.
  • Bulk edit across a selection: client, collection date, received date, test or specimen type in one pass — a whole plate’s clerical error fixed at once. Bulk approve, reject, hold and print barcodes at the same speed.
  • Result files match targets by Name in Result File — the string exactly as your instrument writes it. A result lands on its target or is flagged; it is never guessed.
  • CSV export on every table, hardened against spreadsheet injection: a cell beginning with =, +, - or @ is neutralised before a spreadsheet can execute it.

A half-filled order is never punished.

The draft is saved as soon as the first step is done, and the step you’re on stays in the address bar, so a reload brings you straight back to it. Save as draft at any step and the order reopens later on the furthest step it reached. A night-shift interruption costs nothing but the interruption.

Where it sits.

The manifest is the CSV your LIS already exports. The LIS keeps the order, the instrument keeps the run — PCR Lab Pro stands at the handoff, where the retyping used to happen.
